I’ve never been on a go-kart before. How does it work?
It’s very simple: you have the steering wheel in front, the accelerator pedal on the right and the brake pedal on the left. Just keep in mind that you should never press both pedals at the same time.
Is it dangerous to get into go-karts?
Not at all! It is a very simple vehicle to operate and has many built-in safety measures (side guards and roll bar). To this, you must also add the external safety control system (from which we can reduce speed and stop a kart if there is any danger) and constant maintenance to get them ready.
What do I need to get into the kart?
All you need is comfortable clothes and the desire to have a good time; the rest is provided by us. When you take out the ticket, we will give you a hygienic net for the head, as well as the homologated helmets. We also have back cushions.
What‘s forbidden to do when we’re karting?
It’s strictly forbidden:
- Riding without a T-shirt, with a scarf or under the effects of alcohol or narcotic substances.
- Crash the other drivers (they are not crash cars).
- Get up from the kart on track.
- Disobey the orders of the track personnel and may be expelled if ignored.
How long are the tickets?
Each ticket gives you the right to run on the track for 8 minutes (with the exception of the F-400 kart, which lasts 10 minutes). Although a priori it doesn’t seem like a very long duration, driving a kart is very tiring. We can assure you that in this time you will be more than satisfied 😉
Do we have to reserve tickets?
As a general rule, no. We have kiosks where you can print your ticket in less than two minutes. However, it is necessary to reserve the group race packs (bachelor/bachelor parties, companies, teams…) and birthdays.
Is the circuit safe?
Of course, the most important thing for us is security. Our karting has the most innovative safety measures, such as TEC PRO protection barriers (used in Formula 1) as well as wide escapes, a track width of more than 9 meters and, if that were not enough, we use anti-slip paint (red, white and blue) in the curves so that the kart does not skid.
What if we have a go-kart breakdown?
Although our karts are under constant review by our qualified staff, we can not forget that they are machines and can fail. If you notice that the engine is not working properly or a tire is punctured, you must enter slowly to boxes for our staff to change the kart. If it is not possible and the engine stops, you mustn’t get up from the kart; instead, raise your hand and wait for our staff to change your kart in the shortest time possible.
What is the minimum age for a child to go up alone?
The minimum age required for a child to climb alone in a kart is 6 years, and always on the condition that they can reach the pedals.
Can children under the age of 6 go up to the kart?
For the peace of mind of them and their parents, they can go up in the tandem kart. It is a double kart where the child can drive the steering wheel while the adult, in addition to driving the steering wheel, also carries the controls to accelerate and brake.
Do children and adults drive in the same session?
No. We separate children and adults into different sessions, as it can be dangerous (adult go-karts are faster). As an exception, and if there are not many people, we can bring children and adults together if they are family.
